Hand In a Bottle

It is interesting to reflect on what is presented Eric Butterworth in his book The Universe is Calling (HarperCollins Publishers, 1994). One illustrasinya, unique methods used by the United States (U.S.) in capturing the African jungle monkeys to be sent to various zoos in the U.S..
With a very humane way, the hunters use a big bottle with a narrow neck of the trap. Bait in the form of nuts and fruits. Bait is placed in the bottle. The goal, so the monkey can be caught alive without getting hurt. In the morning bottle bottles were placed in the woods, then the next day the hunters came back to check the monkey is caught.

How did the monkey was tricked? Well, attracted by the color and flavor of fruit that sting, the monkey went to the bottles. They then tried to reach nuts or fruit it by inserting his hand into the bottle. If you have this, they do not akna can pull out the bottle tangannnya during hand grasping nuts or fruit. They are also not able to carry away the bottle because of the weight.

Maybe we'll laugh at how foolish monkeys. In fact, unconsciously we often behave like them, holding tightly to life problems that we face. Proverbial, carrying-nenteng "bottle problem" everywhere. That is, we let ourselves get caught in the bottle problem. To love ourselves, as if to feel as a human being the most suffering, the most miserable, most poor, and so forth. Pairs around the face pleading, asking for another twelve kasihanorang, praying day and night asking Him for help.

In fact we know. God will not burden members we can not bear. From this it can be concluded for the message delivered Butterworth. One of them, "Praying is listen." Not only ask for something to be good, but seeing something with the best. Watching something that high place, to be able to "see beyond the visible". That way we will be able to find a way out. No need to be caught by hand in a bottle. That way we can be thankful.
